This project, in its essence, is a monument to the women who taught me how to build—not just spaces, but resilience. To my mother, Ooi Lee Nee, whose quiet strength has been the bedrock of every risk I’ve dared to take, and to Karen Kok, whose belief in me burns brighter than any doubt—thank you for being my compass and my sanctuary.
To Mr.Philip Rieseberg, my studio master: Your lectures were not just lessons but provocations, your critiques not just guidance but catalysts. You constantly challenged me: “I think you need to take a step further, crazier, bolder...” The radical edge of this work is yours as much as mine — a testament to your refusal to let me think in half-measures.
This semester was a collision—of ideas, sleep deprivation, and improbable joy. For all of it: Danke schön.
